In 2005 the Bears wore their “alternative” orange jerseys, defeated the 49ers with help from a 108-yard return of a missed field goal and went to the playoffs.
In 2006 they wore the orange jerseys, again in a victory over San Francisco, and went all the way to the Super Bowl.
Last year they lost to the Lions at home, with the help of Brian Griese’s three interceptions.
