Veteran QB Byron Leftwich signed a two year deal with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers today.
Leftwich will compete with former Bears QB Brian Griese and rising QB Luke McCown for the starting job.
I was hoping the Bears signed Leftwich as there backup, but I guess they’ll have to look at some other options.
Options in free agency could be J.P. Losman, Gus Frerotte or Anthony Wright.
Some options late in the draft could be Nate Davis of Ball State, Graham Harrell of Texas Tech, Mike Reilly of Central Washington or Pat White of West Virginia.

Leftwich is injury prone and I really like Hanie he showed alot of promise last preseason
