After failing to make the active roster the last three seasons, Brandon Rideau thinks he really has a shot to shine this season, this is what he had to say:
“I feel like I am making strides, I feel like I have a great opportunity. I’m blessed to have this opportunity and I want to make the best of it. I’ve been around this offense for three years now. I am one of the familiar guys, so I can move around a little bit.”
“It’s looking brighter this time around, it’s all about what I want to do with it. The coaches talk to me and say, ‘Hey, you’ve got opportunities, just make plays.’ That’s pretty much all they have to say. They want to put the best guys on the field and I have to prove that I am one of the best guys.”
“I feel like I am a bigger receiver, so I have to be able to play bigger, it just depends. You can be big and not make plays and then you’re sitting on the bench. It doesn’t matter. It’s just about how you compete and how you make plays.”
