David Terrell worked out with the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs brought Terrell, D.J. Hackett and Amani Toomer in for workout.
But, Toomer was the one who signed a one year deal with the Chiefs.
David Terrell, who hasn’t played since 2007 (Broncos), played for Todd Haley in his days with the Bears. Terrell was the #8 pick in 2001, but couldn’t stay healthy. It’s a shame he couldn’t sign on with the Chiefs. It would have been pretty cool to see Bobby Engram, Mark Bradley and David Terrell, all former Bears on a team together.
In other news the Bears added undrafted free agent guard Maurice Miller.
This is what the Chicago Sun Times said about Miller:
The 6-foot-4-inch, 330-pound Miller, who played college ball at Mississippi, joined the Bucs as an undrafted free-agent in April. The 23-year-old Miller started at both right guard and right tackle at Ole Miss.
Finally last years 3rd round pick Marcus Harrison has returned to practice, he is back in shape after spending the last four days working extremely hard in the weight room.
Marcus Harrison looks to be the favorite to start at nose tackle next to Tommie Harris but will need to get rid of solid contributors in Anthony Adams and Dusty Dvoracek.
