Exciting game. Disappointing showing. It was good to see our team playing again. The offseason has been painful with all the anticipation! I was disappointed in Cutler's performance tonight? Nerves maybe? He'll never admit it. I was also disappointed in the Defense tonight. Again, they have allowed far too many passing yards. If they can't stop the pass, with the schedule they have this year, they might struggle a bit if the offense can't start scoring 25-30 points a game. I'm looking forward to seeing the improvement next week.
the defense was missing key players like Tommie Harris, Charles Tillman, Danieal Manning and Zack Bowman, and they allowed Trent Edwards to complete all of his 10 passes but the run d allowed a 3.5 ypc average. Cutler threw way to much to Hester and should have thrown it around more. He was very very disappointing. Hanie looked very very good. and Basanez should be released after that garbage. Their is talks about Griese signing as the third stringer. Please not him again!! Better luck against NY Giants next week. Cutler better step it up
