Did you know that the Bears last three victories have all come from the leg of kicker Robbie Gould.
Gould kicked a 35 yard field goal in a 27-24 victory over the New Orleans Saints last year on December 11th, then kicked a 38 yard field goal in overtime to beat the Green Bay Packers 20-17 on December 22nd and then kicked a 44 yard field goal against the Pittsburgh Steelers last night to win 17-14.
It’s unbelievable that Robbie Gould was brought into Baltimore for training camp and they let him go. He went on to work construction in his home town in Pennsylvania, then the Bears signed him October 8, 2005, when Doug Brien went down with an injury. Robbie Gould has quickly become one of the most consistent and most clutch kickers in the NFL and maybe of all time. You got to love Robbie, he is really “good as gold.”
I just wanted to give you this amazing fact that I’m sure you didn’t know. It’s amazing people in Chicago actually don’t like Robbie Gould. They think because he has never made a field goal of over 50 yards, that he is not a good kicker. That is ridiculous. Robbie you are the best.

interesting stuff, if you don't like Robbie Gould you shouldn't be a bears fan
