The Chicago Triubune reports:

“Exact dates and times for the four exhibitions will be announced later. The tentative dates are as follows: Chargers (Aug. 12-15), Raiders (Aug. 19-22), Cardinals (Aug. 26-29) and Browns (Sept. 2-5). The Cleveland game is likely to be played Sept. 2, a Thursday (the teams have concluded the last two preseasons by playing each other in a Thursday game).

The Bears have a 14-11 preseason record under Lovie Smith. Last year’s 3-1 record in exhibition play didn’t carry over into the regular season as the Bears finished 7-9.

The full 2010 regular-season schedule is due to be released in mid-April.

Given that the first exhibition is schedule for Aug. 12-15, the Bears likely will begin practice 15 days before (July 28-31). The unofficial word is the game likely will be played Aug. 14, meaning the Bears would start camp on July 30.”
