Alex Brown has latched on to a team rather quickly. Dumped by the Bears last Thursday, Brown was scheduled to visit New Orleans today then head to Tampa Bay on Thursday, but the Saints signed him to a two year deal and he will be playing for the defending super bowl champs.
If you remember the Bears played the Saints to get to Super Bowl XLI and Brown was a big reason why the Bears won that NFC Championship game. It’s going to be weird seeing him another uniform, but I’m glad he got a job where he can getting a starting gig.
Good luck to you Alex. Have fun just don’t win the Super Bowl with the Saints, let the Bears win this year.
Update: The deal is believed to be worth $6 million dollars, so that means he would be making $3 million a year.
