Congratulations to the Chicago Bulls for advancing to the Eastern Conference Finals. They will square off against the No. 2 seeded Miami Heat on Sunday at 8 p.m. ET.

The Bulls are the third Chicago team to advance to the playoffs this season, joining the Chicago Blackhawks of the NHL and the Chicago Bears of the NFL.

With the Bulls advancing that the means both the Bulls and Bears advanced to the Conference Finals (Championships) this season. The Bulls are on a mission right now to bring back the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy back to Chicago.

MVP Derrick Rose is the Bulls star. Carlos Boozer, Luol Deng and Joakim Noah are the other star players for the Bulls and they all played great last night. Role players like Keith Bogans and Kyle Korver have been solid at times, but the bench mob has been stellar. C.J. Watson, Ronnie Brewer, Taj Gibson and Omir Asik have provided a great spark off the bench for the Bulls.

It seems like they play harder when Rose and the starters are pulled. The bench mob has been great. They have been great fill in players off the bench.

The Bulls have a tough match-up ahead of them when the face the Heat, who they swept three games to none during the regular season. Obviously the regular season means nothing, but the Bulls have that quiet swagger to them right now, while the Heat seem to be a little big-headed.

Congratulations to the Bulls again for making it to the Eastern Conference Finals for the first time since the end of the Jordan Era, 97-98.

Good luck to the Chicago Bulls in the next round. The Bears couldn’t do it, so it’s time for the Bulls to take over Chicago.
