The Bears defense has been pretty solid at stopping the run this season.

They rank 8th in the NFL in run defense, allowing an average of 98.6 ypg.

The pass defense on the other hand ranks 30th in the league. Last week they allowed Raiders quarterback Carson Palmer to throw for over 300 yards.

They allow an average of 270.5 passing yards per game. Only the Packers and Patriots allow more passing yards per game.

Luckily, the Kansas City Chiefs are coming to town. They rank 27th in the NFL with an average of 182.8.

Chiefs quarterbacks have tossed only 10 touchdowns passes all season.

Second-year quarterback Tyler Palko has appeared in four games this season, making two starts.

In those two starts, Palko has completed 65.3% of his passes for 444 yards and six interceptions.

As bad as his statline as been, he hasn’t played that bad. However the Chiefs picked up Kyle Orton off waivers, he has taken 40% of the snaps in practice this week.

The Bears should be able to stop Chiefs lefty Tyler Palko on Sunday. The matchup will be interesting to watch.
