Here are the Week Six Bears power rankings from various sites around the web:
Analysis, “They don’t even need the ball to beat you. In their past three games, the Bears’ DEFENSE has scored five touchdowns.”
Analysis, “Chicago looked downright dominant in a 41-3 road win. I said on “NFL Fantasy Live” last week that we needed to see more from Brandon Marshall after a couple underwhelming games, and we got that Sunday in Jacksonville. Marshall destroyed the Jaguars secondary with 12 catches, 144 yards and a score. Oh, and the defense is still ridiculously good, as you can see here.”
CBS Sports: #6 (Last week: #9)
Analysis, “They head into the bye riding high on defense. Four defensive touchdowns in the past two games is impressive.”
Fox Sports: #4 (Last week: #7)
Analysis, “The Bears have given up just five touchdowns on defense, and coincidentally enough, they have also scored five touchdowns on defense. That makes for a pretty good ratio.”
Pro Football Talk: #6 (Last week: #8)
Analysis, “Even Jay Cutler could find nothing to pout about during that 41-3 win over the Jaguars.”
Pro Football Weekly: #6 (Last week: #11)
Analysis, “Defense is rolling; offense could use bye week to help reach its potential.”
Analysis, “The Bears top of the NFC North and have a two-game advantage over the Packers. Not many would have predicted that at the start of the season. The addition of Brandon Marshall has done wonders for the Bears offense. No team has sacked the opposing quarterback more than the Bears defense.”
Best ranking: Fox Sports: #4
Worst ranking: ESPN: #6
