Packers QB Aaron Rodgers Is Pretty Excited That The Seahawks Beat The Bears

Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers couldn’t be more excited that the Seattle Seahawks rallied back to beat the Chicago Bears 23-17 on Sunday.

Considering it was the same Seahawks team that beat the Packers on Monday Night Football earlier this season on a phantom touchdown catch during the replacement referee era.

With the Bears loss and the Packers win over the Vikings, the Pack move back into first place in the NFC North.

The Bears and Packers will battle two weeks from now at Soldier Field in a game that could decide the division.

Here’s Rodgers after Sunday’s  post game press conference thanking the Seahawks for their contributions.

Urlacher To Kaepernick: “You F*****g Played Well

Even Chicago Bears’ linebacker Brian Urlacher gave San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick credit after Chicago suffered a 32-7 loss on Monday Night Football.

It was really the least Urlacher could do after him and the rest of the Bears’ defense put together an uninspiring at Candlestick Park.

Listen in to hear Urlacher’s kind words to the second-year quarterback out of Nevada.

What do you think about Urlacher’s brief chat with Kaepernick?

Video Of The Day: Circus Catch By TE Kellen Davis

Chicago Bears tight end Kellen Davis had reeled in just three catches for 41 yards and a touchdown through the first three weeks of the 2012 NFL season.

Last night however he made arguably the best catch of his career.

On third-and-three, with roughly 7:41 remaining in the game, quarterback Jay Cutler fired a strike to Davis.

Davis reeled in the reception off of the hands of Dallas Cowboys safety Danny McCray.

Davis bobbled it until he fell to the ground where he kept his focus and made the catch for a gain of 25 yards.

The circus catch by Davis put the Bears up for good as Jay Cutler found wide receiver Brandon Marshall three plays later on a 31-yard touchdown pass. The Bears went up 34-10 and never looked back.

Davis finished the game with three receptions for 62 yards and did a solid job at making plays when his name was called.

Jay Cutler would love to have a tight end stretching the middle of the field. Davis could be just that for the Bears this season.

Here’s the 25-yard circus catch by Davis in the Bears 34-18 Monday Night Football win over Dallas:

Video Of The Day: Jay Cutler and Roberto Garza Appear in NFL Women’s Apparel Commercial

Bears QB Jay Cutler has always been known as a very confident person.

Maybe he’s trying to show a different side of himself in the latest 2012 NFL women’s apparel commercial.

Cutler is one of two Bears players to welcome a child into his life along with WR Earl Bennett this past Monday.

It might be a surprise to some that he has time to appear in commercials. I don’t think it hurt his wallet that’s for sure.

Center Roberto Garza appears at the end of the commercial and provides the biggest laughs.

I don’t want to ruin anything so just watch and enjoy.

Video Of The Day: Brian Urlacher Appears In Comcast Xfinity Commercial

Bears middle linebacker Brian Urlacher hasn’t practiced since Tuesday, July 31.

Urlacher won’t suit up in the first preseason game Thursday against the Broncos. LB Nick Roach will take his place in the middle for the time being.

Head coach Lovie Smith made it clear that the Bears will take their time with Urlacher’s left knee. There is no need to rush the Bears defensive star back.

When he returns to the field remains to be seen, but the Bears want to make sure is 100% healthy for the regular season home opener against rookie QB Andrew Luck and the Indianapolis Colts.

Urlacher has always been someone who scares fans off the field with his size and attitude. He appeared in a commercial for Comcast Xfinity recently promoting their football package.

The commercial is pretty entertaining. It bashes DirecTV’s prices and the Deion Sanders fairy character that has been used in their recent NFL Sunday Ticket commercials.

Enjoy.

2) Bears LB Lance Briggs levels Lions WR Calvin Johnson and gets an unnecessary roughness call due to the hit.

3) Bears WR/KR Devin Hester returns a Lions punt 82 yards for a score after struggling to handle the kick from the start.
