Video Of The Day: Former Bear Nathan Vasher Returning A Missed FG 108 Yards

Former Bears cornerback Nathan Vasher returned a missed field goal 108 yards against the San Fransisco 49ers back in 2005. At the time it was the longest return for a touchdown. Bears rookie, at the time, Devin Hester matched the feat in 2006 against the New York Giants. But Chargers cornerback Antonio Cromartie returned a missed field goal for 109 yards the following year against the Minnesota Vikings sealing the record forever.

The 2005 return by Nathan Vasher actually broke Chris McAlister’s 2002 record of 107 yards on a missed field goal. Antonio Cromartie can never have his record broken considering you move back one yard and your in the back of the end-zone and out of bounds.

Enjoy Nathan Vasher’s 108-yard missed field goal return that I hope all Bears fans remember well.

Video Of The Day: #29 Pick Gabe Carimi (Bears) v.s. #31 Pick Cameron Heyward (Steelers)

Watch Bears draft pick, Gabe Carimi (#29) match-up against Steelers draft pick Cameron Heyward (#31) in this clip. Carimi is in red for Wisconsin playing at LT, while Heyward is in white playing defensive end against Carimi. This video shows why the Bears drafted Carimi. Carimi should be the starter day one somewhere on the offensive line if not on the left side, than the right. Enjoy the clip.
