Hamstring injury ends Wolfe’s season

The Bears placed running back Garrett Wolfe on injured reserve today with a hamstring injury. To take Wolfe’s place on the 53-man roster, the Bears signed linebacker Gilbert Gardner. Wolfe led the team in special teams tackles and was a key contributor on four special teams units.

Booker doubtful for NFC matchup tommorow

Receiver Marty Booker is listed as doubtful for Thursday’s game against the Saints with a cracked rib. Fullback Jason McKie (quad) and running back Garrett Wolfe (hamstring) are listed as doubtful as well, but neither was expected to play.
